Day 5.

Still moving.

Someone please shoot me and put me out of my misery...

What possessed us to "go the move alone?"

WTF, it's been THREE DAYS and we are STILL moving shit out of this place and into the new one! Oh, my back and my neck....my neck and my back...and tomorrow we are going to try to move my personal Waterloo, the damn fiberglass couch that weighs about 250. The major problem with getting help is everyone who has every helped me move in the past has taken a vow blessed by the Pope himeself to NEVER help again, thanks to that couch (and to a lesser extent, the kitchen table. Made of marble, mother-of-pearl, glitter and concrete topped with acrylic, "the table from hell" weighs enough to put someone in traction for WEEKS is they aren't careful). If you don't hear from me soon, it's probably because I CRACKED MY ASS.

God, I hate moving.

I have boxes literally stacked up to my head now. There's no room to store any more boxes for packing, and what completely sucks is that Ronin, Kupo and I will probably be doing the movng ourselves due to everyone saying "Hell no!" whenever they think about our heavy-ass, fiberglass couch. Hopefully we'll get the keys either tomorrow or Saturday so we can get some of this stuff out of here and do the entire move over a few days.

And to top it all off, everytime I look around I see MORE STUFF TO PACK. Ugh.

Finally found a tenant for this place, so it's all systems go with the new apartment. We meet with new landlandy and give her security deposit this weekend, and then we commence to moving soon afterwards.

The downside is that I have way too many books to move. I've just packed about 8 boxes of books and I haven't even gotten to the ones in the pantry or the rest of my shelves yet. We're trying to eat all the food in the pantry and cabinets up becasue there's no way in hell I'm moving food on top of the loads of books and heavy ass furniture. Oh well, at least we dont' have that far to go. Stuff like my glass collection I'm not even going to bother packing; stuff like that is going over in the car. We're going to try to get the crates of books and crap over there first, so that way the only thing we have left to move is actual furniture and clothes and stuff.

I was going to pop my head in and talk about ongoing things like the upcoming move, our trip to the Field Museum to see the Forbidden City exhibit and other fripperies. You know, just rambles for the consumption for the masses.

But none of that seems important now.

Gone, but not forgotten.

Your words live on.

Applause: Lots of things, but being yourself no matter what, good design, anime, good books, videogames, foreign films, relaxing, and water are at the top. Now for those of you who find this list boring, bear in mind I could have said I liked sunrises and walks on the beach.
Tomatoes: Too many to mention, but arrogance, judgemental people and those who just don't give a damn rate high on the list. Have you noticed how some can dish it out, but get pissed off if someone treated them the same way they treat others?
Layout whorage bought to you by: Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. I LOVED this movie, so much better than the first one IMO. This is partly a screencap of the beginning of the DVD mixed in with some menacing trees and other refinements. Ah, the miracle and wonders of Photoshop, but anyways, I figured that it would be fitting, since an archive is a graveyard of sorts.
