Some days you find more than what you bargained for. I was looking for pictures of crackheads on the web (don't ask) when I did a Google Image search and found this insstead. Apparently Joey Buttofuoco quit his day job to star in a movie with a bunch of junkies, drag queens, Paris Hilton looking people, and a werewolf. Goodness.

Damn, I swear I will NEVER move again without paying someone.

Seven days. What a nightmare. If Samara crawled through the TV, I would have told her "excuse me, but can you help me with some of my SHIT?"

Highlights (or lowlights) include:

Wheeling a tape/CD/DVD center down the street on a dolly at 10pm.

Making "mad rushes" during the day with small items with Kupo.

The cat practically kicking my ass when it was time to put her in a carrier.

The electricity fucking up once we were moved in, prompting a visit from Com Ed. Also melted a surge protector that was attached to MY computer (thank God we caught it in time), and causing numerous appliances to blow up in the apartment upstairs.

Moving practically EVERYTHING in a hatchback and a friend's Volvo (note to self: In future, even if it IS just a few blocks RENT A TRUCK! Or better yet, a moving company).

The dog going crazy because he just couldn't understand where all the boxes and furniture was going when it went out of the house.

Having to move boxes and bigger items only during the hours of 6:30-9pm (which is why it took so long) during the week because of Ronin's work schedule and my lack of access to a car during that time.

Calling the phone company NUMEROUS times last week because of a) no DSL b) in fixing the DSL, the phone line itself got shut off and C) line crossed with the neighbor downstairs, prompting him to think that "I was tapping into his line."

It's week two and finally the problems are sorted, but I still have boxes that need to get unpacked and I need more bookshelves and there is absolutely no storage space in this entire huge apartment. But oh well. The move was worth it. Now, to get my security deposit back...

Applause: Lots of things, but being yourself no matter what, good design, anime, good books, videogames, foreign films, relaxing, and water are at the top. Now for those of you who find this list boring, bear in mind I could have said I liked sunrises and walks on the beach.
Tomatoes: Too many to mention, but arrogance, judgemental people and those who just don't give a damn rate high on the list. Have you noticed how some can dish it out, but get pissed off if someone treated them the same way they treat others?
Layout whorage bought to you by: Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. I LOVED this movie, so much better than the first one IMO. This is partly a screencap of the beginning of the DVD mixed in with some menacing trees and other refinements. Ah, the miracle and wonders of Photoshop, but anyways, I figured that it would be fitting, since an archive is a graveyard of sorts.
