Dammit.

Why is it SOOOO freakin' hard to get a copy of Chelsea Girls? Even a bootleg is damn near impossible.

Considering how that was one of the most popular Warhol films, it should be out on DVD ASAP. But nooo....you find Flesh up the ass. You can even find the damn Empire State Bulding movie. But no Chelsea Girls. T_T

Man. I was in the mood to see the whole "Ondine the Pope" sequence again. That cracks me the hell up.

Month one. Apartment still not completely the way I want it, but getting there. Need more bookshelves for my office and more counter space for the kitchen. Right now I'm cutting things on the kitchen table, which is also cluttered, due to lack of cabinet space. Not that we don't have cabinets to put up, because we do. It's just that finding studs in these freaking walls is like a "Where's Waldo" hunt-with a stud finder. Oh, there's a stud...*after drilling hole* Um...guess it wasn't.

Did I mention that the soundproofing between the ceiling and the floor upstairs is paper thin? I haven't? Okay, I'll mention it now then. HellFang barks whenever someone is stomping away upstairs, which pretty much means he's barking all of the time. The cat is too enamored of the fact that there's more windows to look out of to pay much attention. I'm too enamored with the volume control on my Surround Sound to give a damn. Hey, if you're going to stomp around your house like Fred Munster, I'm going to make damn sure I'm not going to hear it, okay? And if that means making you feel like bass is coming out of your feet, so much's the pity.

The view from here and the space is inspiring me to draw again, which is a good thing.

Applause: Lots of things, but being yourself no matter what, good design, anime, good books, videogames, foreign films, relaxing, and water are at the top. Now for those of you who find this list boring, bear in mind I could have said I liked sunrises and walks on the beach.
Tomatoes: Too many to mention, but arrogance, judgemental people and those who just don't give a damn rate high on the list. Have you noticed how some can dish it out, but get pissed off if someone treated them the same way they treat others?
Layout whorage bought to you by: Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. I LOVED this movie, so much better than the first one IMO. This is partly a screencap of the beginning of the DVD mixed in with some menacing trees and other refinements. Ah, the miracle and wonders of Photoshop, but anyways, I figured that it would be fitting, since an archive is a graveyard of sorts.
